Not much to say. Too busy. Doc and I are about to finish our collaborative script for the finale of season 4.2 and I'm literally on my way out the door to the final sound mix for the last episode of season 4.1.

As such I will soon be blessedly free from writing and post-production duties for a while. Looking forward to just being a director for the next several months--still a difficult, full-time job, but at least it's not three difficult, full-time jobs on top of each other.

I did want to say that tonight's episode is really really good, though. Probably my favorite of Doc's scripts in these first eight episodes. Much to enjoy in it, on the biggest and smallest of scales. And if you're not finally converted to Sgt. Hatred by this one, then you're never ever going to like the poor lug.

P.S. Two small items my perusal of various message boards these past few weeks compels me to comment upon:

1. Captain Sunshine = NOT an actual pedophile.

2. Brock's absence has nothing to do with Patrick Warburton. He didn't ask for more money, he's not too busy for us, he hasn't refused to come back or anything of the sort. It was a creative choice on our part, and Brock WILL be back in the show at some point. Just not this week. Or next.

I like this band so far, Owl City that is, i think my sister or my friend Erin suggested i listen to them back when i was still in Texas. Just listened to Fire Flies and fell in love.

anyway been doodling my confusion on how Floridians enjoy the winter weather. When it's 60 or below they enjoy turning on the AC inside the house full blast or open all the windows....WTF?! it's been miserable for me since i hardly have any winter wear(all my winter clothes are still in Amarillo since i thought my stuff was going to come before winter). Thankfully Grant, Garrison's landlord, gave me a bunch of his winter clothes that he doesn't want anymore. Im still cold....no heavy jackets ):

Today im gonna get my hair cut short, been wanting to get something along the lines of a boy cut or something short...but more styled, kinda like what my friend Synthia(back home) had before i moved or whatairukitsu has now. I like it alot...and it was kinda what i was looking for, but i'll probably change it somewhat since i have a fat round face....but i'll see. Gonna have Garrison's mom cut it, he has total trust in having her cut my hair....well...i hope so.


I think for christmas i want a Mango Island Hoodie of HAZARD or more gouache paints or art supplies or some new tennis shoes....but i don't have the money to get it and i need to worry about rent and utilities before i go blowing off my money on silly things. Garrison and I won't be giving eachother or anyone we know christmas presents this year...i feel kinda sad that we won't but that's ok. I think having him around is a good enough christmas present.

oh and hopefully my family will be coming Thanksgiving weekend....at least that's what they are aiming for, so i'll have a real bed and dresser and my art supplies and movies <3 i can't wait now...i miss all my stuff.

Hey 9goodfingers, last night at HighBall I saw a guy who looked exactly like West (except he had all his fingers) and it freaked me right out. UNCANNY.

I have this increasing desire for new clothes lately. Been so focused on work that I haven't bought anything in a long, long time, and even then it was dull stuff for work. I wanna wear something girly and cute and not boring!
I smell a Goodwill raid coming up.

ETA: oh, and speaking of clothes, I'm working on that second run of T-shirts. The main obstacle now is finding a shirt that is: 1. non-sweatshop, 2. the right color, and 3. under $12 a pop before printing. American Apparel is the only one to fit the bill so far, but they're out of the question until Dov Charney either goes to jail or falls in a vat of hot molasses. :/

Okay now I'm getting back to work. Comments disabled so I'm not tempted to check back. :3

Есть аж целых 2 предложения о вписке, но в этой стране даже слово гаранта конституции не является гарантом, ну всё понятно. Перестраховка не помешает никогда. Вот как бы соль. Время, примерно вторая половина декабря. Пока точно не решил. Там еще как всё сдам для сессии)

Thanks for being so nice to my nephew in the previous post, guys! He had a blast reading the comments. I think he's more excited than ever about art, so that is fantastic! I'll be sure to post more of his stuff in the future.

- Doing Photoshop work on some Christmas photos of a friend's 9 month old twins. I have come to the solid scientific conclusion that babies are exponentially more hilarious after exposure to cameras. SO MUCH MACRO POTENTIAL

D___ was home from Baghdad for a few days, and we hung like bros who hang. I gotta get back to work, though. Tonight and Monday are full, so Saturday and Sunday are solid work days. Probably uStreaming late Saturday and/or Sunday evening.

I figured it out, the top coat had frozen overnight on the hood of my car. I thought it looked extra frosty, but I chocked it up to not seeing snow in a while. I think I'll just touch up my acrylic and top coat it again but this time have it dry in the garage where it can't freeze.
